2013

In 2013 we introduced the new workshop Creative Development. In previous years we learned that being creative and using creativity as a subject was something that the teachers were unsure about. They felt like they were missing the skills to teach Creative Development effectively, especially to the higher grades. So, we had three workshops again.

1. We did a workshop on Creative Development. Especially the fact that within art, there is no right or wrong way and provoking creativity instead of showing them what to do, proved a challenge.

2. The Playful Teaching Methods workshop proved a success previous year, so we came back with new ideas and insights.

3. The enthusiasm of the children, teachers and parents made us keep the form of the dancing workshop the same.

With these 3 workshops we visited the Durlstone Primary School and the Christian Primary School in Murewa, we also paid a visit to Hurungwe Primary School.
